Here’s Conan, my only baby cardinal so far! He was just a little naked nestling when he came in. A cat had really given him a beating, he’s very lucky to have survived so he’s a tough little dude. He has been busy this week preening the keratin casing off of his new feathers, so he gets fluffier each day… today he finally got his little crest up, so I had to get a picture :D
