I was originally thinking something a little more traditionally noir-ish, like brick walls, sharp shadows, etc, but the light coming into my studio wasn’t cooperating, so i improvised, and went for more abstraction. Some of the noir reference material i got has that. Once i got down to it, it was pretty fun. I guess a fedora would also be more traditional, though not absolutely necessary. I also made sure the final aspect ratio was 1.37:1, like most movies prior to the mid-50s.
